New York Counterpoint

Stockholm Syndrome Ensemble makes New York Counterpoint with our guests Katarina Henryson, Niklas Medin and Svante Henryson. It celebrates The Big Apple as a musical hot spot.
The program takes it's name from the piece by Steve Reich and intend to capture the throbbing vibrancy of Manhattan. During the last century the development of music in the city that never sleeps has been completely unique - a mix of jazz and contemporary music found nowhere else on earth.
The concert is split in two. The first part is in Stora Salen, the second is in
Clara Schumannsalen with music and bar.

Music by: Leonard Bernstein, Samuel Barber, Charles Ives, Morton Feldman, Aaron Copland, Miles Davis, Steve Reich, Georke Gershwin, John Coltrane and other New Yorkers.

Guests:
Katarina Henryson
Singer and member of Real Group. She has classical music, soul and jazz on her vocal register.

Svante Henryson
